Plein Aire Summer Schedule

PLEIN AIRE VENUES

Wednesday, June 13 - Saturday, September 22, 2012 (includes some Saturdays)

Welcome to Plein Aire 2012 Seattle Co Arts and NWWS.

Leader is: Lynn Kerr
tel. 425 908 7504
cell 206 619 4206

Helpers are:
Beth Betker 206 619 1887
Linda Dunn 206 459 6155 (Saturdays);
Jeff Waters 425 396 1940 (after June)

Will be asking for other helpers, if needed, from the group.

Meeting place will be in the parking areas. Look for the sign. Aiming for 9:30 AM will be waiting for you until 10:00 AM – then look for us or call Lynn.

Locations are varied and with restrooms. Some are old favorites and some are new and private.

You will notice that Volunteer Park is listed; this is in hopes that we will have paintings of the conservatory and they will be good enough to donate to the Gift Shop. As you know, they are in desperate need of funds to continue the conservatory. Maybe we can help!

Tips for new bees – dress comfortably, in layers, take sun screen, pest lotion/spray, water to drink and use. A view finder is helpful, as is something to sit on (just in case). "Garbage in" is "garbage out" and dirty water should be disposed of properly on the way out.

Lunch time is a fun time to share tales and the work of the morning (if you like). This is not a test, but for your enjoyment you may ask for a critique or comments about your work. A fun way of learning for everyone.

Please be aware that some of these locations are by “permission only” which means that we are guests and need to watch our manners.

Included in the below is the venue for the EAFA. They paint on Tuesdays and we are invited to join them as they are invited to join us. Some locations are the same for Tuesday and Wednesday so that you can go back and finish or have another chance to paint in that location. You will find some Saturdays listed for the working folks. Also, we are invited to join the Snoqualmie Paint Out on August 18. A flyer will be available soon.

Questions? Give me a call. Complaints? Don’t want to hear any. Enjoy! Lynn
