I ran across this “sculpture” in a shop in Palm Springs, CA a few years ago and it had such an impact on me, I had to photograph it. I played around with different compositions but decided to crop it fairly close up because I liked the various angles in the lights and shadows. Most importantly, however, I was moved by the “humanity” of this inanimate object.
