Fragrance of Spring is a mixed media and collage painting on canvas. It is of mixed media— acrylics and watercolor crayons plus collage of crumpled up mulberry paper for the flowers. The inspiration came from the artist’s memories of play with paper as a child and of the flower fields in Dalat, Vietnam.
