This is one of a series of portraits of Tibetan women who I have met during my travels to Tibet over the past years. Tibetan people believe in Buddhism, have a unique religious culture. In this series, I portrayed images of Tibetan mothers of different ages. I placed them in an environment with Tibetan cultural motifs as the backgrounds. During one trip to Tibet, I stayed with a Tibetan family. During the day, I would wander in their villages, randomly meeting people, greeting, or chatting with them, and sometimes photographing them. Despite their basic life conditions, they lived a peaceful live style.
