Tropical Waters was inspired my visits to Maui and the natural world the island embraces. Walks and hikes reveal lovely moments unexpected moments. This is no exception. My takeaway glimpse or our hike through the bamboo forest that opened to a creek crossing just before we reached the waterfall. The water and foliage are done in watercolor contrasted by the rough-edged rocks in ink using directional line to create their forms. Note: the size of this piece is without frame, image only.
