Global Communications #2 is painted on yupo paper with watercolor. It began as small medium and large shapes and developed creatively expressing shapes of rectangles with minor in circles and triangles using neutrals and limited palette. I love yupo paper with the advantage of adding and lifting out shapes. I sometimes use handmade stamps and items for texture. Global Communications #1 was acrylic on canvas so I wanted to work on yupo with some of the same ideas that I used on #1. I began my painting journey as an Abstract Expressionist years ago. Although I work in many mediums and on different surfaces, watercolor is my favorite. I work in series and sometimes realism for clients. But my favorite series is abstraction.
