Saw this beauty at an ethnic fair in Salem Oregon call World Beat. She was dancing with a troupe of African rhythm dancers, and totally captivated me, With her long neck, and green eyes, I just knew I had to paint her. I let the image dictate the medium, and felt transparent watercolor would work perfectly. She is facing out of the frame, intent on a bigger world outside of this painting.
