This painting, SUNNING, was inspired by how the light enhanced the colors of my plant as it sat soaking up the sunlight. Painted in my favorite medium, watercolor, on Artistico + Fabriano soft paper. Which allows me to layer multiple washes to get the colors and values and luminosity that I am looking for. My intention while I am painting is to bring my inward experience out into the light.
