Welcome, Stella Canfield, to February’s AZR event!

Stella Canfield knows why she paints. For her, it is because she cannot not paint the eloquent expressions of what she feels about everything around her: nature, people, activities and the world.

She sees art as a great c communicator. Her greatest pleasure is when someone responds emotionally to her work, comes close to it, finds more and more exciting details, and happily decides they must have it.

How she achieves a painting that conveys such attraction to the viewer is multi-faceted, but shape, form, and variety are key elements for success, and the February AZR event will emphasize the importance of them as she reviews the submitted paintings.
