"When The Music Begins" started with a squiggle drawn in my sketchbook. And, then, I started to build lines, shapes, and tones. I imagine the process as being like jazz improvisations. For example, I riff on the shape of spirals, dots and grids. Next thing I know, the image reminds me of the music playing in my mind, complete with the black and white piano keys.
