This rapidly done watercolor was totally from imagination trying to capture feelings about my trips to Italy. Ancient structures are simply a backdrop for the bustle of the city dwellers as they seem oblivious to the centuries old architecture. A cacophony of colors, movement and chaos in a warm, welcoming land. I love Italy. I can almost hear people yelling loudly in their native tongue when I revisit my paintings of this special land.
