This is a painting of my mother when she was a little girl. I have never had a good relationship with her as she was narcissistic and suffered from numerous mental issues as an adult. But when she told me about how she raised chickens and sold the eggs for her spending money as a child, I was in awe of her. And I realized I would have liked her as a young girl. I feel like I captured her confidence and strength in this image.
