Nicolas Lopez Aroni was born in Huancayo, Peru to a family of artists, where art played an important role in their personal training. Nicolas developed skills in painting (excelling in watercolor), as well as in music and the performing arts. He graduated from the School of Fine Arts of Ayacucho, Peru in 2007. He continued his painting studies, with watercolor techniques as his specialty, at the National School of Art Calors Baca Flor de Arequipa, finishing in 2013.

Nicolas has differentiated himself from other artists with his style and subject matter, allowing us to observe whatever captivates and amazes him with his pictorial style of seeing the world. Viewers of his award-winning work get to follow his passions and participate in his great adventure of continuous learning.

The Peruvian newspaper La Republica nicknamed him El Trotamundos (the globetrotter), after his work was awarded for two consecutive years (2014-2015) in The National Salon of Watercolor ICPNA.
