My “Canyons” series is my way of honoring the natural stone cathedrals of the West. Each visit lifts my soul and offers 360 degrees of inspiration. This view is about 20 minutes from Arches National Park in my home state of Utah. I’m drawn to the dramatic sunlit shapes that change as the day progresses. A painting that just flowed easily for me, My limited color scheme was chosen to enhance the serene scene.
