This watercolour was an experiment into how the water and dolphin interact as a 2 dimensional image showing the strength of the dolphin and the power of the sea. It demonstrates how water bounces off the surface and runs over the dolphin. It was important to show the shadow of the dolphin over the water to indicate height and the shaping of the sea to give the impression of a deep swell in the ocean.
