"Galapagos Fish Market" strives to capture that very special moment when, early in the mornig, fisherman return to shore with their catch. Local wildlife eagerly await their share of the scraps before the fish is sold to restaurants and locals. This painting takes me back to the energy, the colors and the scenery of that day in the small town of Puerto Ayora in the Galapagos Islands.
