Golden hour photo capture - the light was phenomenal. Daniel Smith granulating watercolors for the background. Painting completed in 2021. Conventional mat, Plexiglas and Florentine Nielsen frame. Egrets are less numerous than Great Blue Herons in my area. I was beside myself to not only see one, but it was slowed down trying to get out of the brush which was the only way I got a phone photo!
