“Hoosier Trumpets” is an ode to my family. My grandparents met at Owens-Illinois, the glass factory in central Indiana where they both worked. Later, my mother worked for the competitor, Knox Glass in the same small town. She collected these paperweights which were hand-made at St Clair Glass, a third-generation family business.
