I live an hour North of Seattle in Bellingham. They call it The "City of Subdued Excitement." This is an example of the kind of subdued sky I grew up with and also the kind of excitement. There is a Great Blue Heron Rookery we can walk to. I painted the babies, but they are so ugly, you would not enjoy them, so here, I scared up Mom.
