This was an experiment on TerraSkin paper, which is new to me. I began with lots of texture and a water inspiration. The painting became quite dark and I had almost given up until I added the large areas of white high flow acrylic. It still reminded me of water, but begged for some stronger color. In anticipation of a trip to Alaska for salmon fishing, I decided to go with neon pink and orange, along with quinacridone gold. To me the work depicts the struggle of a mighty fish.
