Georgetown, located in S. Seattle, is one of the city's oldest neighborhoods. Many of the buildings that line Airport Way, one of its main streets, were built of brick at the end of the 19th century. Although this painting was done in the studio, I have painted plain-air in Georgetown many times during the last five years. It is now one of my favorite Seattle neighborhoods.
