My experiences in Amsterdam have been wonderful. But you have to be extremely careful of fast moving bikers before you cross a street. As an artist, my eyes and mind are on the magnificent buildings and trolley lines I don't get to see in Los Angeles. This painting was done from a photo I shot in the early morning and was almost blinded by the sharp contrast of light and shade on the buildings. So a bit of a contra-jour painting facing the rising sun.
