When I begin work on a painting, I have no image in mind of what I will create. I began this piece by marbling on yopo with light colors. Using self-sticking removable paper, I cut out circles of various sizes. Then, I cut removable tapes of various widths. Next, I created the design using the circles and tapes. Then, I painted on a background color using a soft foam roller and acrylic paint. After the painting dried, I removed the circle papers and tapes.
