In my painting “Koi play” my goal was to create a fusion of painterly representation that captures the essence of play. In this painting, I have chosen to blend inspiration with joy regarding the playfulness of the koi in the pond, my fluid pouring process and my philosophy regarding nature. In my “fearless” painting techniques I look to paint not just what I see, but to use my mind’s eye; as I work to cultivate my creative story.
