This is a watercolor & gouache painting with collaged hand-made paper as a part of the wallpaper. I believe that moments of love are always positive. However, threats from homegrown terrorist groups such as the KKK and others still exist today, particularly for people of color. Women in our country continue to be threatened, thus demonstrating for women’s rights is still essential to advance equal rights for all women. The two windows behind the couple in this painting portray the continuing need to uphold good and fight evil without hesitation.
