This is a combination of several things. Some reference photos taken in Portugal, my imagination and Tom Schaller’s inspiring light path paintings. I love the marine scenes and I thought I’d like to try a very limited pallet in this painting. I used Yellow Ochre, Burnt Sienna, Quin Burnt Orange and Cobalt Blue.
