This painting came about after a hike that my sister and I went on. It was wonderful to cool off our feet when we came to this clear mountain stream. The play of light and color in water fascinates me!

Only certain images for me translate well to B&W. This educational graveyard of logging equipment fits well with the approach. Typical NW logging sites used spar poles to haul logs into place. I can’t name all the equipment but I feel its pride in hard work...
