This painting is based on my many travels in the Southwest and is of a very special location that I discovered thirty years ago. It is a remote area in Utah and I loved its sheer beauty and magnificent rock formations. This is also painted in acrylic which is a fairly new medium for me and I love how bold I can be with it.
